This policy explains how Sehathy collects, uses, and protects information for the WhatsApp-based health coaching service.
Information we collect
We may collect your name, phone number, age, gender, weight, height, WhatsApp messages sent to Sehathy, meal descriptions or photos you choose to share, nutrition logs, water logs, sleep logs, workout logs, weight logs, health goals, payment status, and support messages.
How we use information
We use this information to provide meal analysis, calorie and macro estimates, exercise tracking, reminders, summaries, PDF reports, customer support, payment activation, service security, and product improvement.
AI processing and third-party services
Sehathy uses artificial intelligence (OpenAI) to analyze food photos, estimate nutrition, and generate coaching insights. When you send a meal description or photo, that content is sent to OpenAI's API for processing. OpenAI's data usage policies apply to that processing. Your messages are delivered via Meta's WhatsApp Business API. We do not control how Meta or OpenAI process data on their platforms, and we encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
AI accuracy disclaimer
Calorie estimates, macro breakdowns, health scores, and coaching suggestions are generated by AI and may not be accurate. These are approximate values meant for general wellness tracking, not precise medical or dietary measurements. Always verify with a qualified professional if accuracy is critical for your health.
Health and nutrition data
Sehathy provides general wellness and nutrition coaching support only. It is not a medical service, diagnosis tool, treatment plan, or substitute for a doctor, dietitian, or licensed healthcare professional. Do not rely on Sehathy for managing medical conditions. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making medical decisions or major diet changes.
Free trial
New users receive a 14-day free trial of Sehathy Pro features. No payment is required during the trial. After the trial period, Pro features are locked unless a paid subscription is activated. Free features (meal logging, water, sleep, weight tracking, and daily summary) remain available without payment.
Payments
Payments are processed by Razorpay, a third-party payment provider. Sehathy does not store your full card number, UPI ID, bank account details, or wallet credentials. Payment data is handled by Razorpay under their security and privacy policies.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share limited information with: (a) OpenAI — meal descriptions and food photos for nutrition analysis, (b) Meta — for WhatsApp message delivery, (c) Razorpay — for payment processing, (d) hosting providers — for running the service. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
Data retention and deletion
We keep data while your account is active or as needed for support, safety, legal, and accounting purposes. You can delete all your data at any time by messaging "reset my data" in WhatsApp or by emailing support. Deletion is permanent and includes your profile, meals, water, sleep, weight, workout logs, chat history, and streak data. Payment records may be retained for legal and accounting purposes.
Children
Sehathy is not intended for users under the age of 13. If you are between 13 and 18, you should use Sehathy with the knowledge of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and secure payment processing. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and restrict access to authorized personnel only.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page indicates when it was last updated. Continued use of Sehathy after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
